About Me
“The aim of life is self-development. To realize one’s nature perfectly – that is what each of us is here for.” Oscar Wilde.
I believe that all individuals have within themselves the capacity for self-development, and my goal is to support and facilitate that growth process. I integrate complementary evidence-based methodologies to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. If you are seeking support in developing self-awareness and learning to live life more effectively, I would be honored to join in your journey. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide a safe, empathic, and respectful environment for clients in which we collaboratively build on your strengths and attain personal growth. I strive to be positive and unconditionally supportive, yet challenging and motivating when appropriate.
Prior to opening my private practice, I served as the Program Coordinator for an Intensive Outpatient Program treating adults with mental health and substance abuse issues. I have significant experience in Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Brief Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational Behavior Problem Solving, and Motivational Interviewing. My areas of interest include Anxiety, Mood Disorders/ Depression, Trichotillomania and other BFRBs, Grief, Relationship Issues, and Addiction. I also enjoy helping clients learn to more effectively manage daily life stressors and improve self-care practices.
